Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Once a division is full, we can not add any players until we find more coaches. So sign up ASAP. If you're interested in coaching your kids team, email [email protected] for more information.

Home Field Location: Crestwood Middle School.
Season Cost:
$75 - 5U & 6U
$85 - 8U and up
*$20 goes to the National AYSO organization and is non-refundable.
*There is also an additional $2.75 processing fee. So be sure to register all of your children at one time.
Season Schedule: (19U games are played on Saturdays and Sundays)
6/2/23 - Registration opens
8/21/23 - Hear from coaches about your team practice schedule
8/28/23 - Practices starts (Week of) for 8U and up
9/2/23 - 9/4/23 - No games or practices (Labor Day Weekend)
9/9/23 - First games (All divisions) First games and practices (5U & 6U)
10/21/23 - Last game (End of season)
Divisions:
Just a reminder that half of the kids move up a division in the fall. They stay in the same division for the spring.
Here are the birth years to help clarify which division your child should be in.
5U – Born 9/9/2020 - 2019
6U – Born 2018
8U – Born 2017 - 2016
10U – Born 2015 - 2014
12U – Born 2013 - 2012
14U – Born 2011 - 8/1/2009
19U – Born 2009 - 2005
Region Supplied Uniforms
Players will get a jersey and a pair of soccer socks for games.
Parent Provided Items (Please purchase these before their first practice):
Soccer ball (Size 5 for 14U and 19U, size 4 for 10U and 12U, & size 3 for 8U and under)
Shin guards (Mandatory)
Cleats (Outdoor soccer cleats highly recommended)
Water bottle
Weather appropriate clothing for practice (Layers is a great idea)
Black (Or dark colored) shorts recommended for games.
An extra pair of soccer socks is nice for practices (recommended)
No Tryouts: AYSO has an “Everyone Plays” philosophy. There are no tryouts and every child is guaranteed to play at least half of each game.
Games & Practices
5U - 14U games are played on Saturdays and start times generally range between 8 am and 4 pm.
19U games are also played on Saturdays and Sundays. The start times for Sundays generally range between 2 pm and 4 pm.
Home games and practices are at Crestwood Middle School.
8U and under only have home games
10U and up have home and away games
Practice days & times are determined by the coach after teams are assigned
6U and under only practice on Saturdays before each game
8U and up practice during the week

Volunteer:
Kentwood AYSO is 100% volunteer run. We would like to have a head coach, assistant coach, and team parent for every team. We’re also in need of additional referees and many other positions. Please consider volunteering. It takes a community! Thank you!

Refund Policy
The $20 annual AYSO National Membership fee and the processing fee are not refundable. The remaining registration fee is fully refundable up until the first day of practice.
Waiting List
If your child is on a wait list, placement on a team is not guaranteed. We do our best to place as many players from the list as possible. Children are placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We are always looking for more coaches. Volunteering to coach your child’s team can greatly improve their chances of getting placed on a team. Registration for the wait list is free. If your child is placed on a team, you will receive an email with instructions to log into your account and pay the registration fee.
